Trip Overview
Embark on a soulful journey to Muktinath, a place revered by both Hindus and Buddhists, with this 8-day, 7-night tour package starting from Gorakhpur, India. Muktinath is not just a pilgrimage; it's an adventure through the scenic Himalayas, serene valleys, and ancient temples. Whether you're seeking spiritual solace or simply looking to explore the stunning beauty of Nepal, this yatra promises an unforgettable experience.
Why Muktinath Yatra from Gorakhpur?
Gorakhpur, a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, serves as an ideal starting point for the Muktinath Yatra because of its proximity to Nepal and strong spiritual connections. Muktinath, located at an altitude of around 3,710 meters (12,170 feet) in the Mustang district of Nepal, is believed to be a place of liberation and peace. For Hindu devotees, a visit to Muktinath is akin to attaining "Moksha," or salvation. For Buddhists, the site holds great reverence as the place where Guru Padmasambhava meditated.
This 8-day, 7-night spiritual journey takes you through the highlights of Nepal’s sacred sites and spiritual practices. The itinerary starts in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of the country, where you'll explore its famous pilgrimage sites and meditation spots. The journey then continues to Janakpur, a culturally rich city known for its Hindu heritage, before returning to Kathmandu to wrap up your soulful experience.
